Palm Beach Show Group's
Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show
The Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show, owned and operated by the Palm Beach Show Group, showcases the diverse collections of more than 200 top-tier international exhibitors and features some of the most esteemed dealers in the world. Since its inception in 2001, the Show has continued to grow in size and prestige and is regarded as the largest vetted art and antique show of its kind in the nation. It attracts upwards of 50,000 attendees each year including private collectors, dealers, interior designers, museum curators and investors from across the country and worldwide.
Following the overwhelming success Profiles realized for the Palm Beach Show Group’s Baltimore Summer Antiques Show, the firm was retained by the Palm Beach Show Group to provide marketing and public relations services for the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show in 2007 and 2008.
Marketing Collaborations
In an effort to increase awareness and boost show attendance by traditional and new audiences, Profiles researched and identified several appropriate promotional opportunities in and around the Palm Beach market.
Profiles services included:
- Creation of a comprehensive database of the head concierge at hotels in Palm Beach and the surrounding areas. The database was used by the Palm Beach Show Group for a ticket drop to select hotels in the weeks immediately preceding the show.
- A partnership with the Miami International Boat Show, which took place February 15-19, 2007 including distribution of complimentary tickets to the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show to Elite Fleet Ticket Buyers (approximately 400).
- Distribution of complimentary tickets to the board of trustees and upper level members of the Museum of Design and Art.
- Development of an extensive database of arts and cultural institutions locally and regionally. A letter of invitation to attend the Opening Night Preview Party as well as the show was sent to each organization and follow-up calls were made to ensure receipt and encourage attendance.
Media Relations
Profiles initiated an aggressive media relations campaign to secure coverage in print and broadcast media locally, regionally and nationally for the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show. Every effort was made to blanket media with calendar listings to promote awareness of the show in addition to securing non-traditional coverage by pitching appropriate, compelling stories to major publications emphasizing the Show’s dealers and their collections as the most newsworthy element.
Profiles media relations service included:
- Initial mailing to all dealers to introduce Profiles and request images
