THE MAN WHO STRIKES FEAR IN NFL QUARTERBACKS
...IS NOW TACKLING BEEF, RIBS, AND CHICKEN
Ray Lewis' Full Moon Bar-B-Que Opened to Public Feb. 20

(Baltimore, MD) - Baltimore Raven Ray Lewis officially opened Ray Lewis' Full Moon Bar-B-Que in Baltimore on Sunday, February 20, 2005. The restaurant, located at The Can Company in Canton, features traditional southern fare including Beef Brisket, BBQ Pork, Farm-Raised Catfish, Baby Back Ribs, Southern Bar-B-Que Burgers, and Filets.

Ray Lewis' Full Moon Bar-B-Que has a seating capacity of 215 and the capability to expand to include outdoor seating for up to 60 in warmer weather for both lunch and dinner. The restaurant features Full Moon's signature blue ribbon hickory open wood fire pit and offers a fun atmosphere with flatscreen televisions at most every table in addition to an extensive collection of photography that highlights Ray Lewis' career. Customers can enjoy all of the Full Moon meals at home, in the office, and while tailgating as take out is available.

"Being a part of and supporting the Baltimore community is important to me," Ray Lewis said. "I know that Baltimore will enjoy and appreciate the outstanding food and unique atmosphere offered at Full Moon Bar-B-Que."

Ray Lewis' Full Moon Bar-B-Que is a new venture in partnership with Full Moon Bar-B-Que of Birmingham, AL. There are currently four quick-service locations in Alabama. Over the past two decades, Full Moon Bar-B-Que has become known as one of the top barbecue restaurants in the country and won three "Best of Birmingham" awards in addition to being a part of the catering team for two presidential inaugurations. The Baltimore location is the first Full Moon restaurant outside of Alabama and plans are underway for expansion to other cities nationwide.

The restaurant features a menu based on the recipes that have made Full Moon a legend in Alabama. Some traditional southern favorites on the menu include Brunswick Stew, fresh pork and chicken cooked slowly and simmered with southern vegetables; Chow-Chow, a mustard-based relish made daily; Bar-B-Que Pork Sandwich, cooked slowly and pilled high on a toasted bun, with pickles and Bar-B-Que sauce; Beef Brisket, cooked all night, seasoned and hand-sliced, piled high and served with Bar-B-Que sauce; and Full Moon's signature dessert, chocolate-dipped "Half-Moon" cookies.

"We couldn't be more excited to bring the best of Birmingham to Baltimore. To have Ray Lewis as a partner adds excitement, energy, and fun to this venture," said Full Moon Bar-B-Que founder and co-owner David Maluff.

In addition to carry out, Ray Lewis' Full Moon Bar-B-Que offers catering for gatherings of 10 to 10,000. A traveling wood fire pit for off-site locations as well as staff and equipment can be provided.
