PALM BEACH SHOW GROUP APPOINTS PROFILES, INC. PUBLIC RELATIONS AGENCY FOR
BALTIMORE SUMMER ANTIQUES SHOW
(Baltimore, MD) - The Palm Beach Show Group, which in October acquired the successful Baltimore Summer Antiques Show, one of the longest continuing annual events at the Baltimore Convention Center, has selected Baltimore-based Profiles, Inc. to provide public relations and promotional services for the show. The event will take place over Labor Day Weekend, August 31-September 3, 2006.
Celebrating its 26th year, the Baltimore Summer Antiques Show features over 550 international exhibitors drawn from across the United States, Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, South America and Asia. Thousands of collectors from the mid-Atlantic and beyond attend the show, which is a cultural experience featuring fine art, jewelry, silver, porcelain, decorative accessories, furniture, glass, textiles and other pieces ranging from the antiquities to the 20th century as well as a sixty-dealer Antiquarian Book Fair.
Profiles, Inc. will work with the Palm Beach Show Group to develop innovative media, marketing and promotional strategies to strengthen attendance at the show, to identify new audiences and to enhance public interest in appreciating and collecting antiques.
"It's important that the public be made aware of the significance of the Baltimore Summer Antiques Show. What draws a range of buyers - knowledgeable collectors, dealers, decorators and shoppers-- is the incredible diversity combined with solid quality of the items featured," says co-owner and show manager Kris Charamonde. "We look forward to working with Profiles, Inc., drawing on their considerable experience and expertise to raise awareness of the best antiques show of its kind in the country."
"We are so pleased to be working with the Palm Beach Show Group. Their annual Palm Beach Jewelry and Antiques Show is widely recognized as one of the most prestigious in the nation, and they are bringing the same vision and professionalism to the Baltimore Show. We look forward to introducing a broader audience to the extraordinary offerings at this event," said Amy Elias, President of Profiles, Inc.
For the past 15 years, Profiles, Inc. has helped corporations, foundations, individuals and not-for-profit organizations throughout the Greater Baltimore region gain awareness for their programs, activities and initiatives.
