For more than 30 years the American Craft Council has presented the Baltimore Fine Craft Show. The Show attracts more than 700 exhibitors from 41 states nationwide, with visitor attendance reaching upwards of 23,000 during its three-day run. To publicize the Baltimore Fine Craft Show, Profiles worked to develop partnerships with local organizations, arts and cultural institutions, community associations and retail locations; provide advertising recommendations; and initiate an aggressive media relations campaign to secure coverage of the show in print and broadcast media locally and regionally. As a result of these efforts, feature stories about the Baltimore Fine Craft Show appeared in Style Magazine, Baltimore Sun, Annapolis Capital, Baltimore Business Journal, Ornament magazine, Baltimore Jewish Times, Washington Post, Philadelphia Inquirer, and Fiberarts Magazine. Additionally, the 2006 Baltimore Fine Craft Show received coverage on Maryland Public Television and on all Baltimore area television affiliates throughout the week of the show.
“Working with the Baltimore Fine Craft Show has been tremendously rewarding and it’s an added bonus to be recognized for our achievements by our peers,” said Amy Elias, president of Profiles, Inc.
